descent from the Bitcoinj portfolio: Bitcoin recovery guide
As a bitcoin enthusiast, you may have worried about the survival of your Bitcoin through the wallet as Bitcoinj. However, when it’s time to access coins, you can discover that the key with Mainnet coins (i.e. the original 1 BTC and other larger denominations) are a unchanging derivative (NSDP). This can make your active recovery a terrifying task.
Why is this happening?
When you created the Bitcoinj wallet, he used a private key to manage the bitcoin network. During this process, grain was generated from a private key, which is used to obtain other keys and generate coins. However, in some cases, NSDP may be incorrectly configured, which means that the main coins are stored in a different derivative than expected.
What can you do?
Fortunately, recovering bitcoins from the Bitcoinj purse is not as complicated as it seems. Here is step by step to help recover access to recovered bitcoins:
Step 1: Summarize information about NSDP
Before immersing yourself in regaining efforts, collect as much information as possible about the custom derivative path used for main coins. This includes:
- Private key used to create a wallet
- Grain (if you know)
- All error messages or warnings found in the portfolio creation process
Step 2: Imports the recovered grain
Importing seeds is an important step in recovering the main coin. To do this, follow the following steps:
1
Remove the grain : Remove the seeds from the Bitcoin payer file and save it safely (for example, using a password or other encryption method).
- Create a new private key : generate a new private key using recovered seeds.
3
Import seeds to your handbag : Import the new private key to the existing Bitcoinj portfolio.
3. Step: Ders Mainnet coins
With seeds and a new private key in your hand, you can now get the main coins using the following activities:
1.
- Deriver’s main coins : Use a new private key to generate the main coins (i.e. 0.05 BTC).
3
Say coins : When you led the main coins, move them from the wallet and to the local wallet.
Step 4: update the portfolio configuration
To prevent similar problems in the future, update the portfolio configuration to use the appropriate derivative path for main coins:
1
Update your portfolio configuration file : edit the Bitcoinj portfolio configuration file (usually placed `~/.Bitcoin/jallet.conf
) and change the path derived from the “script” to “standard”.
- Load the portfolio again: Load the purse again with the updated configuration file.
5. Step: check recovery
After successfully recovering Bitcoinus, check the wallet, creating a new grain and importing it into the wallet. Check that the main coins (0.05 BTC) are available and can be moved from the wallet.
Application
Recovering bitcoins from the Bitcoinj portfolio requires some efforts, but considering the appropriate instructions, you should be able to recover access to your assets. By taking these steps, you will be good to regain control over the recovered bitcoin. Remember to always save your private portfolio keys and configuration files to prevent unauthorized access.
